Sergio Terzi – Professor at Politecnico di Milano and Chair of IEEE TEM Chapter Italy

Sergio Terzi is professor of Industrial Technologies (M.Sc. in Management Engineering) and Design and Management of Production Systems (M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering). His main research interests are in the field of Advanced and Smart Manufacturing (also said Industry 4.0), with special attention to the role of digital technologies and sustainability. He is serving as a Delegate to the International Relationships for the Department of Management, Economics, and Industrial Engineering. He is also serving as Associate Dean in the Graduate School of Management (GSoM).

Nadia Scandelli: Head of Smart Industry Solutions Unit Cefriel

Nadia Scandelli has extensive experience in the field of Industry 4.0 and digital platforms. Nadia has held various roles in Cefriel, including Head of Smart Industry Solutions Unit and Head of Smart Factory Unit. In these positions, they have been responsible for overseeing projects and activities related to Industry 4.0, IoT, Logistics 4.0, and solution development. Additionally, they have served as an Industry 4.0 Expert, Deputy Head of the Digital Platform Division, and Senior Consultant at Cefriel.

Gianpiero Negri, Global Head of Central Quality Assurance and Field Compliance Amazon Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging

Gianpiero Negri holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Physics and a MSc summa cum laude in Computer Science, both from Salerno University, and a Master in Industrial Research, Mechatronics and Robotics from CNR-ITIA (Italian National Research Council, Institute of Industrial Technologies and Automation). He’s currently Head of EU R&D System Safety Engineering at Amazon Robotics – Advanced Technology. His current research interests are fucused on robotics and artificial intelligence safety systems.

Fabio Vesperini, Phd, Head of data Science – 40Factory

Fabio Vesperini, has a phd in information engineering from Marche Polytechnic University. He has extensive experience in the application of data science to industrial processes. He is currently the head of data science in 40factory.

Oronzo Lucia, Scientific Coordinator of Scientific Committee of SPS Italia

An expert in Digital Transformation, Oronzo Lucia is Scientific Coordinator of the Scientific Committee of SPS Italia, automation and digital fair for smart and sustainable industry, organized by Messe Frankfurt Italia. He holds a degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Padua, and has been an Executive in multinational companies such as Procter & Gamble and Angelini Industries, where he carried out activities for Strategic Project Development, JV, Due Diligence, Asset and Competence Evaluation. With decades of experience in the field of Industrial Automation and Applied Research in the field of Industrial Machines and Plants, he is the assignee of Product and Process Patents.

Stefano Faccio, Head of Machinery Safety, Industry 4.0 & Digital Manufacturing Marelli Automotive Lighting

Stefano Faccio has a long experience in automation and Industry 4.0 . He has held coordination and planning positions in several multinational manufacturing companies. He is currently Head of Machinery Safety, Industry 4.0 & Digital Manufacturing Marelli Automotive Lighting. He is member of the Scientific Committee of SPS Italia.

Federico Milan, Digital Innovation Manager Breton

Federico Milan is Digital Innovation Manager at Breton SpA. Federico has a strong interest in emerging technologies, with more than 20 years of experience, he has held several roles, from electronic design in the photovoltaic industry to architectural design of software for process automation, architectural design of SCADA up to MES and WMS solutions, he has developed solutions dedicated to automatic product qualification, arriving to the design and project of the innovative architecture called “Smart SCADA” in which he introduced new paradigms that allow greater simplicity both in design and integration with Data Driven applications. Federico graduated in Electronic Engineering and qualified as an engineer at the University of Padua, later for personal challenge he obtained a degree in Computer Science and Automation. He is member of the Scientific Committee of SPS Italia
